As we are all very busy trying to lose weight this year I thought I would write an article explaining the many varieties of meals romantic forecourts offer us. I am not going to focus on the lip smacking dim sum, seafood or the exotic lamb dishes, because there are plenty of those for you!

We will be focusing on a different subject every day so rest assured I will be rotating a different set of foods each day.

Let’s jump into a quick review of each day and see what we have for dinner this week.

If you have never been to Paris before you are going to love this menu:

I recommend this menu to everyone for two reasons.

1. This is a collection of some of the most delicious food from around the globe and 2. This menu is arranged in an interesting way.

Every dish is colorfully decorated and the shapes are unique. There are always interesting hints of the culture and geography of the foods here.

I am going to have to explain that when something is here called a “bialĂ©”, in French it means “green herb” and the dish that comes from this name is an Saute using spices and roast meats.

Sauteed meats are cooked very slowly in low heat together with fresh ingredients. The finished product is a distinctive and delicious taste that is an ideal way to spend an enjoyable meal at a leisurely pace.

Many of the dishes found here are also found in Mediterranean countries and in central Asia. One of the most interesting though is the eating area called “Ch’arki”, beautiful for its colorful display of carvings.

The artistry that is involved in the preparation of these dishes is amazing. The finished product is like a work of art because it is so carefully and intricately designed.

And now for the tidbit, the myths. Yes I hear you, you are probably as curious as I was before you read this article. So I won’t bore you with more myths. I will keep this article as short as possible, but there are enough interesting tidbits to make it interesting.

“Is tap water really dangerous?” ~ This is a question that was actually asked by the residents ofIndia. You see how mature and educated we have made ourselves. The water that comes out of our faucets is of course safe. It tastes just like distilled water and is good enough for us. But, the question is why do we feel it is safe to drink it?

As far as the taste goes, I think that only pure water is tastier than tap water. If you have ever tried tap water, you know that it does taste somewhat like chlorine. But, when compared to water that is bottled or ServSafe tap water, it tastes and smells just like water. People bottled their own water in bottles and sold it on street corners. Bottled water was popular because the price was low and they could pass on the savings to their customers. Now, obviously that has changed and the street vendors have largely disappeared. But, if you still want the benefits of tap water, even if you filter it, you still need to use water purifiers.

“Why do we need to treat our water?” The benefits of water are actually more than the mere presence of chlorine the chemical that is added to kill bacteria. When we drink water, it goes directly to the cells of our body. The water helps to lubricate our joints and muscles. It supplies our organs with oxygen and nutrients.

Healing water may or may not be in the form of a bottle with a picture of a pure spring or the earth with trees and mountains. I have seen water cleanse irritable urine samples. It doesn’t do anything for seborrhoea or other chronic skin problems. But, if you keep the water warm and clear, within range of your respiration, it can be a boon to your pain. In fact, pure water with a little salt will help your body heal faster.

Avoiding environmental pollutants is an ongoing trek migraine with no end in sight. You can contribute to the cause by choosing the simpler, less expensive products when you shop. Even just adding a water cooler or dish to your cart is going to help the cause. Shun the cosmetics and avoid the man-made products, which would be a step closer to good health.
