Protein, Casein, And Glutamine – An Overview
As you may know, protein is the main building block of muscle tissue and is the primary component of hair and skin. For this reason, it is important that we take in enough protein at all times. The problem then, is that some people seem to nauseate when they eat foods that contain protein. Now I’m sure that we all have eaten foods that contain protein that our bodies did not like, at one time or another. For those of us that hate eating chicken, beef etc., how can we go about getting some protein? You got it, protein is derived from animal meat, dairy products, and eggs. With that said, let’s take a closer look at how you can get your daily fix of protein.
Protein – What you don’t want to think about is that many foods that are considered to be healthy foods actually strip the body of protein. Foods such as milk, cheese, ice cream, puddings, and even soy sauce, all stripping away valuable nutrients from the body, damaging the kidneys, and causing digestive problems. The goal is to seek foods that are as high in protein as possible, do not strip the body of protein; and stay away from milk. High protein foods are essential to fitness and body building, therefore it is always a good idea to incorporate protein into your diet. Kitchen delights like chicken breasts, lean meats, nuts & seeds, and low fat dairy products are all terrific high protein foods that you can consume every day.
So if you think you are on a high protein diet you may be losing muscle mass; and you want to know what you should do. Below you will find some helpful information on protein, carbohydrates, and fat; how they all affect your body, and what you can do to avoid fat gain.

High fats are definitely not who we should be aiming for.
