Healthy Nutrition Diet – Sometimes You Feel Crazy

You know you’re doing everything right to eat right and still can’t lose weight.

You’re exercising, you’re eating tons of organic fruits and veggies, drinking whey powder shakes, and doing cardio routines every day.

Your workouts are killing you but you only lose 2 or 3 pounds a week.

Blame it on your diet.

I’ve worked out like a horse, and still my weight is stuck between 11% to 13% despite working out like a mofo. Is this possible?

I started thinking about why this is when I came across this post on CrunkSprouts.com. The author, Mike Geary, explains how the ingredients in certain green smoothies might be working against you.

” The potency of some ingredients in smoothies makes them more like eating a piece of cake. For example – the ingredient in the smoothie is glucose, which is processed by the liver and converted to fat by the liver. But this is only two of the many problems caused by green smoothies.

1. They’re high in carbohydrates. During the Isagenix green cleanse, my weight loss was 9% on the days that I did eat green smoothies. On the days that I didn’t drink a smoothie, my weight formerly figured was exactly 20 pounds 10% of which was belly fat.

2. My cholesterol shot up.

3. My fatigue was non-existent. During the time that I was drinking those dizzying four inch high-fiber greens I felt more like a teenager than I did a grownup.

What does this mean?

Green smoothies make you fat and slow down your fat loss.

Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way.

We made a deal when I packed on 40 lbs. and cured my heartburn by drinking those green smoothies. The deal was that I had to learn how to eat right and start making healthy choices so that I wouldn’t have to put on weight again.

I did have a job, but I was working nearly 16 hours a day and didn’t have the energy to make it to work.

So now I know how to eat right and make it work. Now it’s just up to me to stick to it and keep my commitment.

Your recipe for fiber-filled green smoothies is up before I release this article.

Here’s one that I made on our trip to witness the birth of our daughter:

1 large banana, 1 large mango, 8 oz. blueberries, 2 tbsp. of pineapple juice

“Baby, you are going to be very popular with the opposite sex. Lets change that today!”

I enjoyed this drink so much that I made it again yesterday. It would be such a treat for my husband if I drank it every day.

I drink it in the morning, usually about 5 minutes after I get up. I put in a little more than what I need, but you can adjust it to suit your taste.

Why pineapple juice?

Pineapple juice promotes bromelain in your body which is the enzyme that digests uric acid. This means that you will be able to reduce the effect of uric acid and won’t need to pile up even more as a result of drinking pineapple juice.

Mango juice and banana are great sources of manganese, which chops up fat. You want enough manganese to scrap up pounds, that’s why you only need a half a teaspoon of it. The other great thing about manganese is that it’s anti-inflammatory and your body uses it to keep the injured areas in your body from getting swollen and ulcers from forming. Manganese is also great for keeping your bones healthy.

Blueberries are great for preventing and curing urinary tract infections or urinary tract disease. It reduces the E. coli and lactobacillis bacteria (both are a common cause of urinary tract infections or UTIs). It works by inhibiting the bacteria’s’ ability to infect the lining of the urinary tract.

If you’ve heard someone call yourUGSSuperakermint tea, it’s time to get around to giving that old irritablemint alrack. It relaxes and soothes your bladder and it’s also a great remedy for bladder infections or hemorrhoids.Just sip on it after a few minutes. It doesn’t matter much what you do with it. My favorite way is to make a relaxing lather with a little bit of bodily wash and a little amount of aloe.

Here’s a tip to get you started: have a cup of hot water and a toothpick in the refrigerator.Once you have it in the refrigerator, crack open the cap and enjoy. Just sip it from time to time, but don’t use much.
