Tips For Smokers – Which Ones Should I Buy?
A couple of years ago I read a thread online about smoking, grilling and food dehydrating. The gentleman in that thread was asking if certain smokers would be better for certain things. He had a number of appliances with a very high price tag on them, but he was not sure which ones would be better. I thought it would be nice to know his list of preferred ones, but I thought I would write an article myself to address this question.
I have been smoking continuously for about 3 ½ years. A collection of smokers have been acquired. The first was a Packard charcoal smoker and the finest tasting brisket I have ever tasted was when I smoked using the Benelli Regularizer. That was a whopping 7 years ago. In that time I have used many different kinds of charcoal, natural gas, wood, etc. I have even worked as a concession stand to make money and have been fortunate enough to have friends and family try some of the various kinds and give their opinions. Here’s a list of what I think are the top 10 favorites of mine:
1. I have a violent habit ofinating. whenever I do not want to think about something, I literally have to force it out of my mind. Usually when I do not have the urge to eat, I force myself to chew a piece of gum and voila, I know what I am hungry for.
2. Weed killers are not good for you, period. They are dangerous, do you know that? Yes, smoking produces some carcinogens, but there are many within the smoke, such as Vitamin E, that are not found in any other plant source.
3. Vitamin E is found in all types of edible plants, save for tobacco. Why is this important? Very simple. Vitamin E is an antioxidant. urrence of cancer in the family has increased dramatically over the past forty years. That is an amazing fact, and many people should consider eating organic meat, as it would cut their risk of cancer in half.
4. Carrots. Yes, they are sweet, but they are loaded with Vitamin A which is found in only one other food source on the planet, the sunflower. Yes, that is right; sunflower seeds contain more Vitamin A than carrots, and in fact have twice as much Vitamin A per serving than fully grown carrots. In fact, carrots are so rich in vitamin A that they are considered to be a superfood.
5. Just to let you know; Del and his family smoked over twenty-five years of smoked salmon. He heard that white fish cooked in butter at high temperatures could help prevent the formation of cancerous tumors and even slow the growth of some aggressive prostate cancers. He was able to see that by adding two tablespoons of butter to his diet per week, he could lower his cholesterol by eight percent. He also found that this simple food combination was by far more effective than drugs or other forms of therapy.
6. You have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and you probably agree with that statement. Why? Because your body uses the food you eat to fuel your body. If you are taking in processed foods, you are not only unhealthier, you are also doing your body more harm than good. Processed foods tend to have unhealthy fats, sugars, chemicals, and antibiotics in them. As a result, your energy levels will be low for the day and you will crave more during the mid-morning and afternoon. Not only that, but you will also suffer from hunger pangs. You have probably experienced this at some point in your life. For those who do not know, hunger pangs are always the result of when your body is lacking something it needs in order to operate properly. Right now you probably feel as though you are running a marathon, or working out really hard and you realize that you are feeling tired and are able to just relax and(Soul) rest.
7. You may have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you don’t have breakfast regularly you are sure to be in a bad mood. Well, if you do not have breakfast regularly, you are running out of excuses. There is no point in you complain when you do not have breakfast as it will only lead to more complications and illnesses. It only follows, that you should not have breakfast at certain times it is important that you eat breakfast at least during the breakfast meal and more often throughout the day.
