Omega 3 And Dry Eye Syndrome
Eye dryness, also called eyelid laxity, is a most common cosmetic problem. It is one of the most common causes of adult deviation of eye vision and a main cause of childhood deficiency of vision. dry eye syndrome is a wide variety of eye disorders, which can be acute or chronic, and sometimes may be associated with other conditions like diabetes and heart disease.
Mean duration of dry eye during childhood and early adolescence:
A sudden drop in the mean duration of dry eye was once uncommon, but nowadays, nearly half of children in early adolescence develop dry eye syndrome. Some factors include increasing age, excess weight, metabolic disorders, and pregnancy.
Chronic inflammatory dry eye syndrome:Chronic inflammatory dry eye syndrome is a more common counterpart of age-related dry eye syndrome. This condition is manifested in terms of distended eyelid, dark circles under eyes, and corneal ulcers. While the disease does not cause any damage to the blood vessels and nerves, it is still early to determine causes.
The most striking feature is the prevalence of dry eye syndrome in women and non-iterranean people as a result of inherited genes.
Chronic constipation:The prevalence of dry eye increased in the western world with the advent of the fast paced lifestyle and processed diet with excess of salt, fats, and sugars. The daily diet is composed of large amounts of junk food, which sends us on the high risk of nutritional deficiency. A healthy diet with plenty of vegetables and fiber can help to prevent nutritional deficiency.
The Relationship between eye health and diet
Vitamin A, B, and C supplementation reduce the risk of dry eye syndrome for at least one month. The long-term benefits are not as great as the short-term benefits of vitamin A, but it can reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease for at least 5 years as a result of a large proportion of chemical compounds known as carotenoids.

The carotenoids are found in the pigment of many yellow, orange and red fruits and vegetables, and the yellow pigments are the least found in nature. These carotenoids are considered to be highly protective against UV radiation damage as well as heart disease. The current recommended daily allowance (RDA) of carotenoids is about 400-600 mg, but can be much higher in certain populations.
Eye problems:
Asthma
At least three quarters of U.S. children have asthma, and half of these children have an obese parent. These statistics are showing a dramatic increase in childhood asthma from 15 years of age up to adolescence, and the numbers are increasing with each new generation of children.
Brown rice
A new study shows that 16 percent of Mexican children are overweight or obese and at risk for heart disease in adulthood. This study, published by theAmerican Journal of Clinical Nutrition, was the first to use a large nationally representative sample (ogenesis of obesity and suggesting a strong link between childhood obesity and adult obesity)
90% of obese children lacked the proper portion of fruits and vegetables
The key problem with fruits and vegetables is not just enough but excessive portion.
Fruits and veggies have healthy fiber
Much of the fiber is insoluble (does not dissolve) in water but combines with water to form a gelatinous gel. The American Dietetic Association recommends 3 cups of fruits and vegetables per day (compared to 1.5 for non-vegetarians).
Keep adding fiber to your diet and you’ll add the bulk to your stool which turns into a gelatinous gel. That’s the reason whyitz full of fiberis a great laxative.
Gelatin is 70% proteino, which means that the body uses it to build proteins. It is what holds paper together. It is also what gives certain fruits and veggies their texture.
What is slime?
Baby gels likefoot and mushcup are made of gelatin. They are used by the packing industry, which manufactures several poundage of gelatin for every pound of seafood. So you see tons of gels and powders being used to replace air in guns, and as O rings and hoses.
They are added to ice cream to make it thicker, and give it a creamier texture. Ice cream makers take the leading qualities of the gels and pack them into the ice cream.
Sugar and artificial sweeteners
Most people don’t realize that sugar is a primary ingredient in gels, which make up 99% of the gelatin sold. Have you tasted gelatin ice cream? It tastes exactly like pure regular ice cream. Have you tasted gelatin yogurt? That taste just like regular yogurt, only made with less sugar and flavored with artificial sweeteners.
